Shows and Stuff...

Such an awesome few weekends of shows. First was an amazing corporate function at Emerald Casino organised by Fluid Media with Toni Gozza Music and the absolutely incredible Chester Missing and Conrach Koch ventriloquist comedian! The show went fantastic even though I initially got the wrong venue and we had to fly to make it there!! (I would call it the worst blonde moment EVER but I'm not blonde so have to call it a serious brain cloud. Gulp.)

On Saturday we performed for a 40th birthday party for Kamlesh organized by his beautiful wife Shekha. The dress code was black and white with a touch of red and everyone down to the kids looked so stylish! We ushered in the couple and did a Bollywood show and after speeches and other performances a Belly Dance show. I love completely switching between styles and hopefully do them both justice which I think we managed! :) The wife called me this morning to say we were all anyone talked about and that they loved it and they hope to have us perform again soon. Yay us!!

We had to fly off to a Bollywood themed evening at TSG, a big restaurant/venue which was in a shopping centre that just had a major robbery and shoot out about 30 minutes before we got there! Thankfully, there were no casualties and the cops, paramedics and detectives were out en masse. Our job was to cheer up the crowd of mainly families after a rather traumatizing experience. We performed our Bollywood medleys which turned out to be a big hit with the kids all gathering around the stage and some of the little girls trying to copy the moves which was adorable! Life is certainly an adventure.
